An accomplished physician, Dr. Steven Armus operated an expanding series of dermatology clinics throughout Wisconsin, which eventually cared for as many as 1.6 million patients. Additionally, Dr. Steven Armus has applied his business experience and formal postsecondary education in environmental biology to starting a land remediation business that removes invasive plant species and reinforces the growth of native ones. His knowledge of medicine and biology has provided a foundation for not just earning a living, but also his volunteer services.

Through an association with the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Armus provided free preventive skin cancer screenings, and through Racine, Wisconsin’s Health Care Network, Inc., he offers free medical care to the local community. Likewise, he has provided care on a pro bono basis to members of the St. Patrick’s Congregation in Racine.

As for his environmental management skills, Dr. Steven Armus volunteers them by caring of the community garden of the Guest House of Milwaukee, which offers shelter and support for men without homes, while also helping with meal service, fundraising, and community events.
