The former director of a 12-office dermatology practice, Steven Armus, MD, is now the owner of Dermatology Consultants of Wisconsin. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Dr. Steven Armus lives in an area that is home to a number of top-rated hiking trails. Some of the best of these are:
– Seven Bridges Trail. Located in Grant Park in South Milwaukee, Seven Bridges has welcomed hikers since opening in the 1930s. The tree-lined trail stretching along Lake Michigan actually takes visitors across 10 bridges and leads them through ravines and over stone paths.
– Lapham Peak Trails. Highlights of this 17-mile circuit of trails in the Southern Unit of Kettle Moraine State Forest include a 45-foot observation tower that holds the distinction of being Waukesha County’s highest point. Easily accessible, Lapham Peak Trails connect with a segment of the popular Ice Age Trail.
– Parnell Tower Trail. The observation tower sits at the beginning of this looped path, which winds through the Northern Unit of Kettle Moraine State Forest. Farther down the 3.5-mile trail, hikers can navigate a route that cuts through mixed hardwoods and passes an Adirondack-style shelter.
