After graduating with a bachelor of arts from the University of Colorado in Boulder City, Steven Armus went on to earn his MD from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. As a UW alumnus, Steven Armus remains a fan of the Wisconsin Badgers football team.

In his second year as head coach, Paul Cryst leads the Badgers football team to another successful season in 2016-17 by finishing ranked 10th overall after its 24-16 Cotton Bowl victory over the previously undefeated Western Michigan Broncos.

The team’s 7-2 conference record was good enough to earn it first place in the Big Ten West division and a 4th appearance in the Big Ten championship game, which, unfortunately, the Badgers lost to Penn State by a score of 38-31.

The team’s stars were safety Leo Musso, deemed the season’s most valuable player, and the Houston Texans J.J. Watts’ younger brother T.J., named best defensive player; Badgers running back Corey Clement’s 1375 yards rushing was enough to earn him the honor of best offensive player.
